HyroTradervs Breakout
Both perpetual-execution leaders. One routes to Bybit, the other to Kraken. Here's how to pick.
HyroTrader
Bybit-integrated prop trading with 700+ pairs
Breakout
Acquired by Kraken. Daily USDC payouts, on-chain proof.
HyroTrader and Breakout are the two leading perpetual-execution crypto prop firms in 2026. Both route trades to real exchange orderbooks rather than CFD-synthetic feeds, both publish verifiable payouts, and both earn our 4.7 editorial rating. The difference between them is geography, leverage tolerance, and pair coverage — and picking the right one comes down to which of those matters to your strategy.
Exchange backing
HyroTrader executes on Bybit via direct API, which means your trade hits the same orderbook as retail and institutional Bybit users. Breakout is Kraken's prop arm, routing to Kraken's own matching engine. Both are real-exchange execution — the question is which exchange's liquidity and regulatory posture fits your needs. Kraken is US-licensed in 36+ states; Bybit is not. That single difference decides this for US residents before any other metric.
Leverage and pair coverage
HyroTrader offers 1:100 leverage on majors and 1:20 on alts across 700+ pairs including memecoins and DeFi tokens. Breakout caps leverage at 5× majors and 2× alts across 120 pairs. If your strategy depends on altcoin rotations or high-leverage scalping, HyroTrader has the tools. If you trade majors with conservative sizing, Breakout's lower leverage is a non-issue.
Payouts
Breakout pays USDC on Solana daily with a 4-hour median settlement — the fastest in our coverage. HyroTrader pays USDT or USDC within 24 hours on demand with a 30% challenge fee rebate on first payout. Both are on-chain verifiable. Breakout wins on raw speed; HyroTrader wins on trader economics because of the fee rebate.
Profit split and scaling
HyroTrader offers a tiered 70–90% split with scaling to $1M allocation. Breakout offers 80–90% with scaling to $200K notional. For traders who expect to scale beyond $200K, HyroTrader's higher cap is material. For traders content at or below $200K, the split difference is negligible.
Rules and challenge format
Both run 2-step evaluations with similar profit targets (~10%) and drawdown limits. Breakout additionally offers a 1-step format for experienced traders who want to skip the second phase. Daily drawdown at Breakout is slightly tighter (4% vs HyroTrader's 5%), and Breakout uses EOD trailing drawdown which is more forgiving intraday than HyroTrader's trailing type.

Pick by use case.
US residents
Breakout is US-compliant via Kraken. HyroTrader excludes US traders due to Bybit's restriction.
Altcoin and memecoin traders
HyroTrader's 700+ pair universe dwarfs Breakout's 120. No contest for traders who want deep crypto.
High-leverage scalpers
1:100 majors at HyroTrader vs 5× at Breakout. If your edge is in leverage, HyroTrader.
Speed-above-all payout focus
Daily 4-hour USDC is the fastest in category. HyroTrader is 24h on demand.
Scaling beyond $200K
HyroTrader scales to $1M; Breakout caps at $200K notional.
Conservative risk profile
EOD trailing drawdown + 5× leverage makes Breakout harder to blow through an oversized position.
